What are the Prophesies of St. Malachy?

I’ve been doing some research lately into the book of Revelations which I am very ignorant on. I’ve been Catholic all my life and have been feeling the call from God to learn more from the bible to defend my faith. I noticed a blog recently with a Protestant challenging a priest on the church hiding and misleading people about The Prophesies of St. Malachy. What was this about? The priest did mention it was a private collection only and not doctrinal or required for belief. Can you enlighten me on this? The Protestant says this is what our faith is hiding about the end times, rapture?
