What are the rules for washing altar linens?

I have volunteered to launder various Altar Linens. I am wondering there are any rules regarding this, specifically the Purificators. They are not rinsed in the sacrarium before I take them. Thank you.
 
Hi,

You need to rinse the purificators and any corporals you might have (the large square cloth that the chalice and paten rest on-on the altar. Then the rinse water should be poured out onto the ground.
