What are UFOs and are they a threat?

It might belong here. I know a few people who feel that UFOs are apperitions from Satan sent to confuse people. I also know a person who talks about the vision in the Bible of “wheels within wheels” as being about UFOs. I guess the question may be: does your faith system have anything to say about UFOs?

**No, not at all because there is no science behind the phenomenon. Rather, could UFOs be a threat to one’s Faith? As one gets ‘into’ the whole subject area, one becomes aware of something quite deceptive about it in regards to one’s beliefs, in my opinion. **

For what it is worth, finding out there is intelligent life somewhere other than here (if we can really be defined as intelligent sometimes…) would not threaten my faith at all. God created the universe so they too would be God’s creation. What would be interesting would be their faith. But even if it was different I would not feel threatened as there are religions here that do not follow His faith.

It would not ‘threaten’ my Faith, either. However, after researching the UFO phenomenon for over forty years, I had to come to the conclusion that there is something very malevolent about the whole thing, that it does not bode well for us because of its deception. I don’t think UFOs are extra-terrestrial at all.

I was really into UFOs in the mid-seventies, but don’t keep up on any of that anymore. Beat’s me man!

Well, I think they are probably just test planes and such. Assuming they weren’t though, I’d have to say they were demons, at least in some cases. Notice the “new age” following they have and that should be a warning sign right away.

I had an interesting discussion about this with a Protestant several years back, who was convinced UFOs were demons. I didn’t have an opinion at the time, but he gave some decent arguements and I figured the Catholic Church didn’t have a stand one way or the other (thus it was my decision). I recall him showing me some drawings online by a prominent satanist, which featured the satanists “gods” that he spoke to. The satanic “gods” looked exactly like aliens (big head, big eyes, small body). It was eerie.

For many of those who have delved into the UFO phenomenon, it has had the same affect as if they were tinkering with the occult. For many it IS a religion because of what so-called aliens have revealed to them. Some of that is interwoven with new age thinking; some with the occult. I think it belongs in a forum for serious discussion because it deceives many souls.

Now for me to answer your question directly, are UFOs a threat?

Answer → Human beings are a greater threat to themselves then any UFO or alien group. If we don’t wake up, take control of our governmental system that has been taken out of our control, and save the environment, and live as peaceful christians then our freedoms will be taken away from us by humans for a short time. We need to take responsibility for ourselves and not look to outerspace for our enemies or our saviours. We need to grow up and take responsibility for ourselves.

It is interesting that you have spent your time studying UFO phenomenon. I love to know about “mysterious” phenomena such as UFO too, but have not much time nor resources. Perhaps you may kindly share your idea of why do you conclude that UFO are not extra-terrestrial at all. Please understand that my knowledge regarding UFO is limited, and I am not a scientist either. I myself cannot say anything much about UFO to refute anybody.

For me, Satan will not conduct his mission among human by means of scaring people, such as appearing in scary form of walking headless human, etc. Nor do will it appears in a form of vague appearences such as UFO. Satan will appear in real things such as greeds for self satisfactions, power (political or influential), lust and wealth. I don’t believe that satan is capable of killing us. **I disagree. Satan and his demons will appear in any way, shape or form to confuse and deceive, whether it be in a human being (possession) or in various types of psychic and disturbing phenomena. The Bible is filled with accounts of the appearances of demons, and history is replete with this sort of thing. Remember, they fell to earth at the beginning of time and also inhabit our ‘space’ here.

The world is not looking for a theological savior. The world is looking for a technological savior, who will save them from war, famine, poverty, and disease. Unregenerate man wants heaven on earth, on his own terms, and apart from God. What better way for the powers of darkness to reveal themselves, than as the technological saviors of mankind? The world of the occult openly embraces the UFO’s, and so-called alien extraterrestrials.

And why do I not think they are extraterrestrial? For one thing, the alien contacts always speak of things which contradict the bible. The consistent ‘theology’ of the extraterrestrial is antichrist. The consistent message of the aliens is hostile to Christianity.

For another thing, these so-called craft defy physical laws. They appear and disappear at will. They change shape at a moment’s notice. Occupants have been reported to walk through walls, doors, and windows. They sexually molest and abuse (or at least, give the delusion of such) individuals. They continue doing the ‘same’ things over and over again as if they are ruled by insanity.

And as St. Paul tells us," We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, powers, and spiritual wickedness in high places." Eph 6.**
