How are you preparing for Easter?
I’m reading 20 pages from the Catechism each day. Only 700 pages to go!

I struggled in the weeks before Lent to find something to give up. Our three month old is allergic to everything at the moment and since I’m nursing him, that means I’m giving up pretty much everything (already) too: wheat, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts (including coconuts), potatoes… and we keep finding new allergies. So my initial plan of giving up meat for all of lent is out the door since meat, fruits and veggies are pretty much it for me at the moment. How are you preparing for Easter?

:clapping: You, Jennifoo, have my respect. That’s quite a list!I’m praying the Liturgy of the Hours, reading the Magnificat Lenten Companion, the Rosary-the whole she-bang in prayer-as I’m able. I’m increasing my parish offerings and donations. I’m doing more house-cleaning, being nicer to others, and generally eating less. No pizza. No steak. No fancy coffee drinks, only normal coffee.![]()
