What are you giving Jesus for Christmas?

A very valid question and one that many forget about in the commercialization of Christmas.

I will my response later to this question.

Extra time in adoration. But I think I have to come up with something else–I thought adoration was my gift to Him, but really it’s been the other way around.

I have slacked off. I have failed to attend Mass regularly, and help financially support the Church. I have been a lazy Catholic. May God forgive me, and strengthen me in my efforts to reform my ways. I cannot live outside the Church. :o

Although not yet Confirmed, I want to attend the 24/25 December Midnight Mass, and perform the Prayer Of Spiritual Communion. :o

I have no ides if it counts, or if this was what you were fishing for, but I also donated $100 to the local Alano Club (a gathering place for Alcoholics) so we could put on a Christmas Dinner and Toys giveaway. These free dinners are a long-standing tradition of the Club. And how much is 22 years of sobriety worth anyhow?

Thanks for the reminder. A gift for this birthday boy can not be bought in a store. A gift for Jesus doesn’t cost us money or a trip to a store. Let us all give Jesus the gift of see him in others and treating all with dignity and love.

Happy Birthday Jesus.

I’m trying to work hard on my creative writing so I can make some money to give to World Vision.

I have nothing to give Him that He did not give to me in the first place, so like a child who makes use of all that their Father owns, but owns nothing themselves, I will give back to Him all that He gave to me and all the good that came from what He gave to me by His grace and I will do that with joy and great gratitude and having given Him back what rightfully is His, I will stand before Him like a child empty handed, He will see my poverty and Love me, as it is that only Love endures and only the child to which the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to.

So true. Everything we have came from God. What we can give Him is our Free Will and submit totally to Him and His Will.

I am working on becoming self-employed this coming year so that there is no obstacle to daily Mass and Adoration.

Extra $$$ to charity, confession, eucharist as often as possible, extra prayers, thankful heart, and I’ll even be nice to my in-laws when the come a visiting this Chirstmas!🙂

I have nothing to offer so I will give Him littleness my inability to be anything; I give to you my Lord my insignificants and lay it all at your feet on the cross. May I be that smashed vase that no one wants or needs or even sees as worth anything. But to You oh my Lord for You to be able to put me back together how suites you so that all glory goes to you, that is what I offer to you this day.
Do with me what you will my Lord.
I love You oh my Lord God for ever
