I just started The Dolorous Passion of Our Lord Jesus Christ by Blessed Anne Catherine Emmerich. Hope to get in one or two more along the way though.

L’intelligence de la Liturgie by Paul De Clerck (in French).

Once again I am Kindling my way through the Compendium of the Catechism of the Catholic Church and the corresponding paragraphs in the Catechism itself.

Signs of Life: 40 Catholic Customs and Their Biblical Roots, by Scott Hahn. My wife and I are reading one chapter each evening.

I read the Lamb’s Supper by Scott Hahn. My daily readings are from Magnificat Lenten book, the Little Black book for Lent, daily readings for Lent from Basilica of the Immaculate Conception and Meditations for Lent from St. Thomas Aquinas.

I’m reading The Technological Society, by Jacques Ellul.

Forming Intentional Disciples…by S. Weddell
and
**The Last Monk of Tibhirine **by Freddy Derwahl about the French monks executed in Algeria at the Monastery of Our Lady d’Atlas by terrorists.

Oh my. I just remembered I lent that to one of the Deacons last year and he never gave it back. :o
Thanks!
You’re welcome! I just started it because I’m busy with making rosaries and work and life in general but I hope to finish it during Lent.

Yes, I know this problem well. I now consider most lending a gift! 😉 Unless I am adamant and tell them I want the book back in one month and remind them fairly often…usually I let it go, however.

I’m reading the Old Testament and the Catechism of the Catholic Church. I’ve been reading on them for a while but I’m going to try to finish them during Lent.

Like you Jamal, I’m reading “Meditation for Lent” by Bossuet. Read it last year too. wonderful book.

I’ll be starting “The Reed of God” by Caryll Houselander soon. Friends say it is a great book. 👍

I have enjoyed reading Caryll H. but have yet to finished one of her books. She is an over-looked gem these days but was a very popular spiritual writer in her day…50’s or 60’s…need to check.

I like reading Bousset a lot.
