I’m thankful for air in my lungs for the God who knows me and loves me personally!
For our Blessed Mother’s yes to God
For my dad today on Father’s day
Love of family and friends
For my job at my church
For another day to glorify Him and be more like Christ!

That my nighttime breathing problems are due to a new comforter and the stuff they spray on it. That I have the BEST husband and father of my children

I want to thank God because He has had patience for me after I constantly offend Him, especially when I think I am doing something for His sake. I want to thank Him for Him Mother Mary, who constantly prays and intercedes for us. I want to express my gratitude for His Mercy.

Oh @(name removed by moderator), I’m so sorry! May her memory be eternal.

I’m thankful for:
  • Another day
  • For Our Lady being my mother
  • For St. Joseph being my foster-father
  • For the countless times St. Anthony has helped me
  • For my Guardian Angel, who works 24/7 trying to keep me safe both spiritually and physically
  • For Sts. Michael, Gabriel & Raphael and all the Saints and Angels whose intercession I’ve asked for throughout my life
  • For my pastor and all the bishops and priests who have ever helped me during my life, both living and deceased
  • Being able to go to confession yesterday
  • Going to Divine Liturgy yesterday & today
  • Receiving Our Lord yesterday & today
  • For my brother, sister & brother-in-law, my nieces, my nephew, my godfather, my godmother and all my family as well as my deceased parents, relatives and fellow parishioners
  • For all my friends in person and on CAF
  • For my job, my boss and all my coworkers
  • For the innumerable blessings, graces, consolations, crosses and desolations He has either given me or permitted throughout my life
  • And anything else I’ve forgotten to thank Him for
Thank You, Dear Lord.

That my grand daughter got accepted into the Catholic College her parents had applied to! (Insert emoji of grandmother doing hand stands and a happy dance and a smile so wide it puts models to shame!)

Thanks be to God!

I’m thankful for being called into existence. I’m grateful for having the grace and desire to pray. I’m grateful for being able to meet this kind elderly gentleman on the way to Mass who was actually “hitch-hiking” because he totaled his car and needed a ride to the airport (He was a very gentle, kind man). I’m thankful I got to receive Holy Communion on this Solemnity. I’m thankful for the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, the “testing” of my patience and long-suffering. I’m thankful for the calling… even if I am not certain of it’s specificity. I am thankful for grace to respond to God everyday as I yearn to become a Saint and have that vision of God (and to retain it) even if it is just “dimly” in this life. I’m thankful for the hope to see God face to face in the eternity.

I’m thankful for the Lord Jesus Christ for having died for me. When I picture Him on the cross, it takes my breath away every time. It should have been me on that cross because that is what I deserve.

I am thankful to God for:

o living away from the city in a quiet community
o feeling ‘at peace’ this morning even though there will be a BLM march in a nearby town
o knowing that GOD is still and will always be in control in my life
o instilling in me the Love of ‘baking’ which brings a ‘warm’ feeling in my kitchen
o making me realize that all God’s creatures don’t always survive after seeing two baby birds dead on the sidewalk
o getting motivated to go to my kitchen and start preparing my Apple Pie…the smell of Cinnamon brings memories of my Dear Mom baking in the kitchen many, many years ago…a Blessing I cherish!

i remember my aunt having a long long line from her apt where she would hang all of her clothes, to dry, they only had a washing machine and she hung her childrens diapers on that line too. and her line crisscrossed with lots of other apt lines, I can remember her talking to us with clothespins in her mouth. Invite your neighbors over to see your new condo. hang a line to dry things in your apt even a small one, and find a place outside of your condo to go and sit and watch the world like you would do on a porch.

My HOA doesn’t allow clotheslines but I still have my hanging clothespins 🙏 (they look like a question mark at the top and a clothespin on the bottom).

theres a snobbery about these days of communities not allowing clotheslines, like people are ashamed of looking beneath elegance, having laundry visible to the neighbors, . My clothesline would be grandfathered in for sure its not a concern for me but i know that it exists and also my neighborhood has so many fences fences fences, ugly vinyl fences, but there are some nicer towns that only allow natural fiber fences. Clothes lines are actually a practical way to have some privacy in your yard during the day!
