What are you thankful to God for today?

I am thankful to God for:

o getting a shot in my arthritic right knee, finally!,
o catfish…my favorite fish which I will fry today on Friday,
o feeling of peace which came over me after the shot…Amen! 😌
 
For friends who make me laugh :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:Pets that keep company ,
And for Our Lord there in the tabernacle of the church,even though the doors may be closed.
 
I am thankful that the leak in our water pipe was right where we were digging out the earth and easily found and fixed, and not somewhere several yards away that would have required us to dig up the ground along the entire length of our shop.

I am also thankful that I am feeling pretty good, today.

And, that the weather has cooled, so I can spend more time in my garden.
 
I am thankful to God for:

o surviving shopping at Walmart!

o being able to taste the glass of Merlot I am having now to calm my nerves… 😩 🍷
 
I’m thankful for His Divine Mercy and the hope of salvation for all of us. I’m thankful for the love of my wife and family and for us all living close enough to see each other regularly.

I’m thankful for my rosary, that hopefully my dad’s estate is finally coming to a close after 2 years, the good health of my family, and enjoying vacation until school starts!

I’m thankful that I am still pretty healthy at my age. Still walking around, still have my faculties, just need to lose some weight and maybe my joints won’t hurt so much. That’s on me. When I read obituaries and find people ten, twenty years younger there, or when I see folks around my age or younger confined to wheelchairs, then I can thank God for good genes and few issues.

I try to be thankful, but more and more, i find that what i have to be thankful for, as great as it is, is very a very small list. An I have learned to stop, and have stopped hoping for; anything more than what I already have.
 
For showing me the way and giving me the courage to start unravelling some pretty big knots in my life. There’s absolutely no way I could even have started doing this on my own.
 
Can you start working up from the smallest of things?
Tonight it is raining,no longer Winter rains but heavier warmer Spring rains…
I’m grateful to have pruned bushes and trees in time .
Rain is getting heavier 😃
 
Nope, I can’t, those days of being doughnut glazed over eyes punch happy; running around looking at reality of organized religions and the world like Spongebob Square pants are over for me.

Might not be such a bad idea to be content with what we already have.
 
I am thankful for God’s mercy, care and grace bestowed on all of us.

I am thankful for the roof over my head, food in my pantry and refrigerator, fresh air, flowers

I am thankful for family and friends here in CAF. Even when socially distant, I am not truly alone.
