I read Genisis through. It was great! Psalms is inspirational and loaded with prophecies.
Tobit was my favorite of the apocrypha. The next best is a toss up between Sirach and Wisdom of Solomon. Sirach seemed more edgy than Wisdom, with subtle sarcasm in some place.
I’ve read more of the NT than anything else. I think Matthew is the most detailed of the Gospels. Luke is neat because it starts off talking about the parents of John the Baptist. Jude is short, but warns us of false teachers. Verse 9 gives us the words we are to use against spiritual enemies. “The Lord rebukes you”.
Hebrews 10:31 is one I like a lot.
