I’m looking for good resources on Catholic living: Podcasts, blogs, online Bible studies, websites, books.
I mostly rely on non-Catholic Christian media, as I’ve found some great scripture study materials (like Good Morning Girls Bible study series) and prayer groups, as I haven’t found anything in Catholic media that really reaches me in the same way.
*Super important: I’m trying to avoid any media that veers into politics or current hot topics, though—I’m looking more along the lines of spiritual growth, daily study, or church history.

Thanks in advance :pray:t3:

Augustine Institute Lighthouse Catholic Media. Love the CDs!

I like CatholicCulture.com, but you have to skip right past the entry page full of opinion writers and go straight to the “Today/ Liturgical Year” section. There you will find bios of the current and pre-V2 saints of the day, and if you click on Prayers there are often prayers to these saints.

You mean the pre Paul Vl 1969 saints?
People commonly say Vatican 2 but they had no part in the calendar.
Or the Novus Ordo for that matter. In fact several bishops from Vatican 2 said the liturgy was not what they had in mind.

I’m not sure what you’re asking? I’m just looking for some Catholic good resources that I can learn from, be inspired by, and study. I was born in 1975, so I guess I’d like post Vatican II, as it’s all I’ve known?

I think the National Catholic Register is a good source for news and commentary.
