I haven’t seen a thread like this in here so I thought I’d start this. Just go ahead and list a couple of your favorite hymns (by text or melody) and see how much we all have in common in the musical liturgy of our faiths.
I’ll get this started:
“Come down, O love divine” (Down Apney): I’m currently researching music for my wedding and this has always been one of my all time favorites. I love it so much and its of an approriate pace that I’m thinking of it being the processional.
O God, Our Help in Ages past: I dont know what the tune is called for this one but its such a great peice of music.
