What other Catholic websites do you like to visit for Traditional Catholic news, discussions, apologetic information, catechesis, etc.? This can be websites, blogs, or other forums.

That depends what you mean by “Traditional Catholic.” 😉 All my favorite Catholic websites are listed on the right-hand column of my blog (the link is in my signature). I don’t know that I’d categorize them as “traditional” in the sense that many self-proclaimed “traditionalists” use the term, but they are all faithful to the Magisterium.

One site that I don’t have listed is the blog Whispers In The Loggia. That guy seems to be very well connected, because he is always right there with the latest “inside scoop” on the goings on of the Church.
 
There’s also a giant list of blogs towards the bottom on the side of my blog and you’d probably enjoy some of them. Ask Sister Mary Martha and Fr. Longneckers Standing on My Head are two of my favorites.

I do not post on Fisheaters often, but I have posted there in the past. I agree that they do have a good webforum and links to a lot of good resources.

I tend to browse Rorate Caeli, this forum on Catholic Answers and Angelqueen. No time for another forum like Fisheaters, though I have friends that like it.

Audio Sancto and Sensus Tradionis, for all their great F.S.S.P. audio sermons…

I don’t frequent too many other sites frequently… There are some oldies but goodies I’ll go to, and ones like Fisheaters and OLRL as mentioned above… have a great deal of great resources. There are plenty of other good sites I go to now and then, mostly when searching for prayers and devotions as if I did not have enough to go through with all the religious books already. There’s a nice solid Catholic presence on the net, if you look in the right places.

Yes, audiosancto is an excellent link. For those using ipods/mp3 players, you can download the sermons for use when ever you like.

Yes, Angelqueen. I do visit Angelqueen regularly. It is a good forum. Good news, good discussions. It can be rough and tough at times.

I just checked out the Saints Discussion Forum and it looks like a really nice forum. I shall check it out more thoroughly when I have time.

Another interesting forum is Bellarmine Forums. The forum itself is no longer active. I think it may have closed down sometime within the past year. I never posted on this forum. It was a sedevacantist forum and I am not sedevacantist and really don’t care much to debate those type of topics (although my husband does and he does so very well). I believe anyone could post. They maintained strict rules of charity from all posters so, although their topics could be devisive, their forum seemed to run fairly well. (See their "Rules for Discussion & Controversy. ") Anyway, the reason I mention them is because they actually have a really good resource section that is still available. I am not referring to sedevacantist resources, although I am sure they have those too, but old, hard to find, Catholic resources. For instances, they have scanned copies of old American Ecclesiastical Review articles which are truly a treasure. (See the Theological Resources page.)

Thanks for the references. 🙂 Actually, I have downloaded quite a collection of the Review, and other old Catholic Magazines, like the Messenger, the Ave Maria, etc. from Google Books which has archived a good deal of Catholic material.

It’s great to see some ‘best picks’ articles.

Google Books and the Internet Archive have quite a treasure trove of old Catholic materials, that if you did not live in the past, lets you step back then to learn what it was like to some degree. A lot of the material for Saints’ Books comes from these.

I believe a forum highly friendly to tradition that enforces traditional civility and good temper a very valuable place needed for people in these times. 🙂
