Cooking - even if it’s just to chop things off for a salad I enjoy it very much. I love chopping things.
Drawing and then coloring my drawings (I always plan to copy and color icons in my sketch book but am somehow shy of it). Unique icons I’d see on the internet.
Walking and listening to music.
Shopping… must admit. My best shopping is when I find a lot of stuff I want, see that it’s above my budget and buy nothing. 😄 but I had a great time staring at textures and colors.
Dreaming - including day dreaming and reverie (I prefer it to sleeping sometimes)
Makeup - nothing too special just average daily makeup is fun because the texture of the skin is different than paper and to do eyelining requires a very steady hand for example.
I am not an obsessed cleaner but cleaning relaxes me and is usually fun.

Have you been following the capture of the Golden State Killer aka East Area Rapist aka Original Night Stalker? That was a case I had been interested in for a while (this was a seriously scary guy, who meticulously stalked his victims and did home invasions ) and I am anxious to find out more about the person, besides him being a former cop with anger issues. Also, the method that was used to find him was so novel—a pure shot in the dark (using a genealogical database with his DNA). The man in custody was never even a suspect, unlike Gary Ridgeway, the Green River Killer, who did give DNA to the police in the 1980s but wasn’t matched until 2001.

I like to hike, I love to read especially mysteries and I love to crochet.

Andy, I watched that series and it really creeped me out knowing he was still out there.

Imagine my surprise when I heard that they finally had a suspect and his DNA!

Wow, that was some good tv viewing!

Reading, exercise, cycling. The reading could involve theology, mysteries, American history, English literature. We have a large collection of books at home, over 4,000 volumes.

There is a lot of internet interest in the case. There are forums and a whole sub-reddit dedicated just to this case. A lot of people were not familiar with this case, but it had a dedicated group of people who poured over the details. I have been interested in it a while. I personally thought it was unlikely that the guy would ever be captured. It was only because of an extremely creative way (to use internet genealogical databases) that the guy was identified. I mean, they traced this guy through a distant relative who uploaded a DNA profile onto an internet platform that I wasn’t even aware of.

I know, it is hard, especially when they want to go into dormancy. I still don’t know how to deal with that. 😉

Flying singles is were the dream begins. Nothing wrong with mastering a 172 or warrior and being a professional in something else.

At the present time gardening, where I can hash out my thoughts.
Playing the piano, making up simple tunes.
Listening to music in the car and singing at the same time.
Tending the hens, ducks and geese and other pets.

Knitting, crocheting, quilting, gardening, and lately making rosaries. I also love research.

Reading, watching videos, TV, movies.

I like to read various subjects of whatever interests me. I’ll read fiction, fantasy, historical romance, Christian romance, autobiographies and biographies, and so on.

I have also been into adult coloring. I really have a lot of fun with it, as the books and pages can be very intricate and very detail-oriented.

I also like to cook and to bake too, and to try out new recipes.

I also like to listen to different types of music, depending on my mood. I like all different kinds of music.

I also play the piano/keyboard.

I also like to play video games, too.

I also like crewel work. I haven’t done any in a long time, but I’m thinking that I’d like to get back into doing some again. I used to rug hook too, and I’m thinking that I would maybe like to pick that up again, too. 🙂

I also like to be outdoors, and to travel. I especially like to take day trips and to travel to different areas and see new places that we haven’t see before.

I just got a bonsai kit in the mail. My seeds are soaking in cups of water to prepare them for sowing. The fun part starts on Wednesday 😀

Oh that’s cool. I was into bonsai’s for awhile but had to give them up when I moved.

I never grew anything from seed though. I hope you enjoy them!

That sounds great! I’ve wanted to do bonsai, but been to afraid to try, plus I don’t have the materials necessary.

I’ve considered getting some bonsai trees to put around my dollhouses…

I just got a kit online. It comes with seeds, soil discs, organic potters and shears. It was about $25.

It’s really enjoyable to watch them grow (I won’t be able to shape them for 3 years). I already have two of the four trees sprouting. 🙂
