What are your thoughts on being baptized in two different religions?

Husband and I are considering baptizing our kids as both Catholic and Ismaili. We have a appointment to speak to a priest, but I was just wondering what the general thoughts are on this topic.

Hi,

One cannot be a Catholic and something else. Only one baptism per Catholic. Either Jesus founded one Church or He didn’t. Either He is the God Man or He isn’t. Either He redeemed us on the cross or He didn’t. You can’t have it both ways. Either Christianity is true or it isn’t. Truth is one. A thing cannot be and not be at the same time.

Experience shows that children that are brought up in two religions eventually end up with no religion as adults.
