What are your thoughts on women dressing modestly?

Skinny jeans in general are fitted all over, though

The weird/interesting thing is that skinny jeans is practically the only type of jeans most girls wear, that anything else is a passing trend (eg mom jeans). The material is significantly thicker than that of leggings, so the idea that skinny jeans was ever immodest is so foreign to me. I only see it here on caf, which is quite interesting imo.

I find wearing longer shirts with it makes the outfit look frumpy as heck so I just wear normal tops with it. My butt is practically non existent 😂
Well, I’m a guy so I don’t which jeans are marketed as skinny vs the jeans that are simply too small.

When I (and I guess most men) say “skinny jeans,” we mean the ones where the behind and thighs are so tight they look like tights 🙂

MOST women (and young women) I see wear jeans look fine. It’s really a minority where you can see every curve.

So I’m sure you are just fine with your skinny jeans 🙂

Not really… Both descend from rugby…

It’s where people play football by jumping on each other in a big stack 🐨

yes. American football can seem inelegant.

But both gridiron and aussie rules are descended from rugby

“In 1857, Tom Wills, one of the founders of Australian Football, returned to Australia after schooling in England where he was football captain of Rugby School …”
Rugby was born in the 1830s at Rugby School, ergo the name rugby.

AFL descended from rugby, along with gridiron football

@adgloriam

I wore a ghi back when I did karate. Those things are hot as frick.

I’d love to wear more skirts and dresses, but the truth is I just can’t find what I’m after and what suits me.
For myself I don’t like to have bare shoulders ,low front ,too short…that draws the wrong attention and makes me uncomfortable.
When I wear jeans,I wear a top that is longer behind.
Sometimes I feel embarrassed for other women that don’t leave much to the imagination,I feel different for not being so exposed …but Pretty is important to me.

There is nothing wrong with pretty, elegant, fun or even fashionable as long as it’s feminine and modest !

I think more people need to do this.

Personally I don’t get why people like to wear jeans as a man. It’s uncomfortable.

Do you girls find it hard to dress modestly? Do you think women should only wear skirts and dresses (mainly, no pants)?
No, and no. Sometimes it’s hard to find things that don’t have plunging necklines or things like that, but oftentimes those are easy fixes.

I love dresses and skirts - my preferred style is knee-length fit-and-flare or A-line. They are beautiful and feminine, yet still perfectly modest. I wear a lot of dresses and skirts in the summer, as well as shorts (I prefer longer style shorts). Dresses and skirts make me feel more beautiful (which is personal, I get it, not everyone feels that way about dresses and skirts) and so when I get the chance, I like to wear them (again, please note - that’s a personal decision that doesn’t apply to everyone).

Unfortunately, it’s pretty darn cold where I am right now, so dresses and skirts every day would be brutal, even with leggings. So I wear a lot of dress pants for work (and jeans for casual). I think they are quite modest and still fashionably professional.

I have fair skin, dark hair, and blue eyes and burn easily. I haven’t been without sunscreen since high school.

But unfortunately, melanoma does not discriminate. My mother had dark eyes and olive skin and she died from melanoma in 2012.

Any skin color can get it - Bob Marley died from it, and his started under a toenail (which is very common for those with deeper skin tones).

Sorry, whenever skin cancer is mentioned, I go on a tangent. 🙂

Even people of African descent can get it. I’m just more susceptible
