What blessings can be bestowed by lay people?

Hello
The title sort of says it all. My question is what blessings, obviously outside of the Holy Mass, can lay people do? Blessing of food, homes, people, etc.
If you could provide the title of the blessing, I can get the act from the Book of Blessings or through other sources.
In addition, does the ability to bless change when you are a catechist?
