I’m reading The Spirit Catches You and You Fall Down in paperback but I have Thomas Dubay’s Happy Are You Poor: The Simple Life and Spiritual Freedom on my Kindle. I may divert to the Dubay in honor of his recent passing. May the Lord grant him eternal peace.

At home: Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets~JK Rowling

Carry with me: Love Finds You in Calico, California. It’s based off of the new Love Finds You Christian Romance series. They’re very good books! 👍

Unearthing Your Ten Talents: A Thomistic Guide to Spiritual Growth by Kevin Yost, PSY.D.

The Fall of Giants by Ken Follett. First book I’m reading on new iPad!😃

Just finished the first book in Stephen Lawhead’s King Raven Trilogy. Currently reading Donald Spoto’s bio on Joan of Arc.

Just finished reading ‘Water for Elephants’by Sara Gruin. Awsome, awsome book. It quickly became one of my all time favorites.
Now reading ‘The Three Musketeers’ by Dumas. Lovin’ it so far.

Finished Orthodoxy by G.K. Chesterton and Pagan and Christian In An Age of Anxiety by E.R. Dodds.

Still reading Nudge, and I’ve recently restarted the Tahrike Tarsile version of the Qur’an, though I’m only in Surah II.

I am reading The Time Of My Life by Patrick Swayze and Lisa Niemi. It is a really touching book that makes you realize just how increadible he was. I love this book. I have 3 chapters left. This is definately a book that is an excellent read. Keep some klenex near as some parts are really touching.

I am going to have to look at that when I have time to get it to load. I am on dial up and it takes ages for it to load. He also did a show with Oprah and that too was very touching. My next book is probably going to be another book about him called One Last Dance. This one is by Wendy Leigh.

Yesterday I made a quick and delightful diversion to read Rosarium Virginis Mariae, the Apostolic Letter from Venerable Pope John Paul II when he proclaimed 2003 as the Year of the Rosary.

I’m reading a two-volume biography of Blessed John Henry Cardinal Newman by Merisol Trevor. The first volume is titled, ‘The Pillar of the Cloud’ (the original title of the poem he wrote which contains the words ‘Lead, Kindly Light’), and the second one is titled, ‘Light in Winter’.

It’s very interesting and insightful. I have a one-volume biography of Newman which I bought back in 1989 before my second trip to England; that one is by Brian Martin. But this one that I’m reading now ‘fleshes out’ his personality and all of the conflicts he endured before and after his conversion.
