As far as I recall I have been to three Catholic churches in my life. Not a large sample, I know. 
All of them had paperback seasonal or yearly missalettes, with hymns included, in the pew racks, and one had also a hardbound hymnal. None had pew Bibles. Is this typical? What does the average Catholic pew have in it? How common are ārealā hymnals? Are pew Bibles purely a Protestant innovation?
