I will be 51 tomorrow. I went ot Catholic school grade 1-12. I have realized in the last few years that the Catholic converts know more about the faith than I do. Also, I have need to defend my faith at times and I cannot. I began watching and listening to EWTN about 2 years ago along with reading. My problem now is I don’t have a direction to go. I want to know everything now and I know that is impossible. Right now I am reading about the Church Fathers because I feel I can point them out to my non Catholic friends when religion is mentioned. I work at a Catholic hospital (a gift from God) and give Holy Cards to my patients, Catholic and non- Catholic alike.
Could you maybe give me and idea what to focus on? I have lots of reading material but just cannot read it all at one time.
Thank you for all you do.

Mary Catherine,

Happy belated birthday! The recommendations depend on what area you would like to grow in, so I’ve broken them down by topic. All of them will help you continue to grow in your faith, so you won’t go wrong with any on the list. If you have any further questions or concerns that are not answered by these links, please contact Catholic Answers directly.
