You had someone willing to consider these things. Often it’s not that easy
The conversation was our first regarding religion. We’ve known each other for years. I wrote down what I wrote here and sent it to her as her intention was to ask her minister. Surprisingly, I haven’t heard anything since. I will not pursue it unless she does.

A while back, I had a conversation with a Jehovah Witness. I mentioned the angel Raphael. She asked who that was. I said he’s in the Bible. Of course, I did not know he is not in the JW’s Bible. So that conversation ended. She stated she was going home to check that out. Her whole idea was that she was going to convert me. That was pretty interesting since we had never converse re. religion before. So home she went. I assume she checked it out. But after that, she never discussed that or any part of religion with me again. Don’t know why?

Ever run into “the Catholic Church is the devil”?

I was aware that the Catholic Church is not a favorite of JWs or some other sects or Protestants. But once she got me engaged and said she was going to check her Bible, I was surprised she didn’t continue with the conversation. She was very sure that she would have a potential convert in me. Why she thought that is boggling because that was the extent of our initial conversation.

They are essential told conversions are the highest thing they can accomplish in ministry
