What came first: Christmas or the Feast of the Annunciation?

What was first established? I read somewhere that the Feast of the Annunciation had a fixed date before Christmas (March 25) and that Christmas was later chosen to be celebrated nine months later (December 25), but from what I’ve read elsewhere, the first recorded Christmas celebration was in 336 and the first Feast of the Annunciation was celebrated sometime in the fourth or fifth century, so… Does anybody know what came first?
