I just asking for any suggestion of nice little and inexpensive things that I can do for my pregnant wife. She is about three months pregnant, but I want to just make sure that she is happy and comfortable. I am going to be a first time dad, and could not be more excited.
God Bless:highprayer:

Congratulations on your first baby!!!

Do you like cooking? 😃

I love to cook, and consider myself a bit of a chef in training.

How about a pedicure once a month? She will be finding it difficult to bend over and take care of her feet, and a pedicure is so relaxing and your feet feel so good and your toes look so pretty afterwards. A real boost for tired and swollen feet. You don’t need to go to a high-priced spa to get a nice pedicure. Prices vary in my area from 25 to 45 dollars.

You could cook a meal a couple of times a week. Make sure to do her favorite dishes. Later on, depending on how she feels, you might want to do more cooking. Also, a bit of cleaning when she needs the help. In late pregnancy it’s sometimes hard to get down and clean some things. Like the bath tub.

And if she gets really weird food cravings, don’t be surprised. That sometimes happens.

Congratulations!!!

Lord please keep this family safe and close to Your always. Please bless this little one’s life.

If you can give her massages yourself I’m sure it would be greatly appreciated.

My husband is the same way! 👍

I can’t tell you how AWESOME it is, having a “chef” for a husband, especially when you’re fighting the nausea that can accompany pregnancy.

Cooking for me and feeding me healthy foods are two of the best things my husband does for me, especially while I’m pregnant.

Does she like affection? Flowers? I loved being touched – Especially little things like brushing my hair away from my face to look at me, or gently poking me in the ribs as we pass each other.

I don’t know why, but I especially like it when my husband flirts with me when I’m pregnant. 😃 Reassures me, I guess… Like with all the changes happening to my body, he actually likes it.

How about a journal to record her thoughts through pregnancy? Or there are some great devotionals for expectant Moms. I also enjoyed the book Chicken Soup for the Expectant Mother. Congrats on the new baby! And pats on the back for going the extra mile to show your wife how important she is to you!! 🙂

Congratulations!

Now, isn’t this the million-dollar question! I’m a father of 4, and I’m still guessing at what to do to please my DW - pregnant or not! 😃 But, the fact that you’re asking the question about what you can do for her tells me that you’ll be just fine. Keep consciously trying to make her happy, comfortable, loved - and you’ll find what works.

FYI, on our latest (now 11 months old), I rented a recliner for her to sleep in since she couldn’t get comfortable or sleep with the almost 11 pound giant she was carrying in the womb. She got rid of it after the first month. Sense the need, try to solve it, and accept that some things you just can’t fix. Be creative and you’ll both enjoy the adventure!

Awww…that’s so sweet that you’re trying to find ways to make her happy! 🙂

Ok, some suggestions.

If she’s the kind who is still dealing with food aversions/cravings, then some cooking wouldn’t hurt. Even if it’s a frozen meal popped in the oven–my DH has been making dinner every night and it’s heaven.

That, and dishes. Food stuff makes me feel pretty yucky, so the kitchen is his domain.

As far as a little gift, DH and I went shopping and got a pregnancy book with a ton of cool pictures (I’m one of those ladies who likes to see all the developmental pictures of little babies!). The one we got is amazon.com/Im-Pregnant-week-week-conception/dp/075660950X/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1228327928&sr=8-1

I also highly recommend amazon.com/Baby-Bargains-7th-furniture-maternity/dp/1889392251/ref=pd_sim_b_5

My sister had one of those body pillows – the really long ones that you can maneuver around the belly. She loved it – made it really comfortable for her to get some rest.

Keep telling her she is beautiful. Once those “cankles” develop she will be feeling low - especially when her favorite shoes do not fit. One fun thing we did before each our kids was born was making time capsules. We had family members write letter to the yet to be born baby. Magazines and newspapers were collected and we put in top 10 music and movie lists.

Aw. So cute. I hope you keep this up once it’s not the first baby on the way. 🙂

What a great hubby you are!

Cooking and cleaning up afterwards is always awesome. Tidying up the house, getting her oil changed, a bouquet from Wal-Mart… all inexpensive ways to show you care! You could also buy a cute baby outfit to show her how excited you are about your impending bundle of joy.

Congrats and God bless!

Putting crackers and a glass of water on her nightstand every morning for sickness?

Buying lotions, careful on the smells, girls love soft stuff.

Cool, soft, fun socks are a nice little gift.

Also nice to have fun chapsticks. Stuff for her.

Just sitting and planning with her all the stuff that you’ll need to buy for the baby…we love having an eager listener.

I worked a graveyard shift and in my ninth month my husband tied my shoes every night before I left. It’s a fond memory:)

Foot rubs, especially when she can no longer even see her feet 🙂 And don’t notice when she can’t balance to shave her legs anymore, either.

Make her laugh. Nothing like the sight of a pregnant woman belly-laughing 😃
