Sorry if I offended some one with my post I rather delete these and I’ll keep on praying instead to God to help me just thought Mayde some one here had passed threw what I’m passing and could help me. Sorry once again if I offended some one with my post I tried to keep it as respectful.

I am currently engaged with my girlfriend of 8years and we are both respecting one another and have been practicing abstinence for a year and 4 months now recently. These past month I have been so angry and irritated that I can’t even stand my self and I’ve had a big urge to relieve myself. How can I stop these?

You have to abstain from fondling your fiancé as well as lusting after her. Don’t spend time alone with her if you can’t control yourselves. You also shouldn’t dry hump her because doing so involves lust, which is a sin. I don’t know if masturbating is a sin, but I know that lust is-- Jesus said that if you look at a woman with lustful intent, you are committing adultery in your heart.

Ultimately, you have to stop because God is not pleased with what you and your fiancé are doing. My suggestion is that you shouldn’t spend time alone with her. If you’re going out with her in a public place, like a restaurant, that’s OK because you are not alone (there are other people in the restaurant). Save yourself for marriage.

I’m ok with not touching her or having lust for her as long as I just go and masterbate of course with out porn just getting what’s in there out I feel relieve.

I don’t recommend masturbating. Times where you’re struggling with sexual desire should lead you to more time spent in fasting and prayer-- not more time playing with yourself. Plus, masturbating without lust is near impossible to do; lust just finds a way to sneak in, ya know?

Think of it like this: we all have a desire to eat, but that doesn’t mean we should eat everything possible. Having an appetite is not a sin, but excessive eating is a sin (it’s called gluttony). I have stopped masturbating and God has blessed me tremendously. My prayer life is more passionate and I feel the Lord’s nearness. The same can happen for you.

Once again, I’m not saying it’s a sin, but there are better ways to spend your time and God will bless you if you stop masturbating. It’s worth the fight.

Tigers,
Let’s first be happy, you and she, are w God now. I pray, you are going to church. You should join a Bible Study. Even if Catholic, it’s helpful to go to an RCIA program to learn wonderful things,in an adult spirit. Keeping busy is important to keep your mind off of intimacy. Read scripture together. Start w the NT. Google verses concerning purity. Do read I Cothinthians 10-??
Love is patient and kind, etc.
Now, change the way you look at her now! She is the daughter of your father-in-Law, to be. A precious little girl, growing up in her father’s eyes. A cherished princess. You know, you and she will have your own children. How would you feel about some guy, who oversteps his allowed actions, before marriage. Your little girl.
You’ve both have SEEN TOO much. You’ve DONE TOO much. How do you get your innocence back?? Physically, you can’t! Spiritually, you can pray a new virgin, in the Spirit prayer. I heard a minister on TV refer to this. You can make your own up. “God, Father, we traveled too far,in our flesh,at the jeopardy of our souls. We didn’t have You, in our lives. We ask You to forgive us our sins. Help us to control
ourselves in our flesh. Help our Spirits, once again, to be innocent and pure. Fill our minds up w good things and Holy things to stay away from the OCCASSION of SIN. Help us,to put on our whole armor of God,to fight off the pull of Satan in our lives. Thank You for hearing our prayers. Thank You Jesus for dying for us. We’re overwhelmed w the love you have for us. How selfish we are to leave the shelter of Your love, for the temptation of the flesh. If we empty ourselves of our thoughts, & just think, Your encouraging thoughts, we can be Victors in Christ, over sin. Thank You,Blessed Trinity. In Jesus name.
Amen”
Five months will-go by quickly. You have wedding plans to keep you busy. Work,to afford the wedding—-OVERTIME WORK. You need to stay away from each other. Men, physically, have ways that the pressure is released in your sleep, w/o any help on your part. Cold showers. Ice applied. Nocturnal emissions. Watch Christian movies w family. NEVER ALONE. Shake hands good night. This will be your penance for your early friskiness. Talk to your priest. He’ll help guide you. Go to weekly confession to work out your spiritual goals.
3200 sp. are coming up
In Christ’s Love

Masturbation is sinful because, as the Catechism, quoting Persona humana, teaches:
The deliberate use of the sexual faculty, for whatever reason, outside of marriage is essentially contrary to its purpose.
Additionally,
Both the Magisterium of the Church, in the course of a constant tradition, and the moral sense of the faithful have been in no doubt and have firmly maintained that masturbation is an intrinsically and gravely disordered action.
Perhaps others here have advice that you could apply to your situation. I imagine it can be very difficult. But answering sin with another sin is never the right choice.

Masturbating is a grave sin (mortal if you have full knowledge that it is grave and if you freely consent to doing it even though you know that it is grave). It is very good that you have made the commitment to save sex until marriage (and hopefully gone to confession as well). Keep in mind that sexuality is not for personal satisfaction. Instead, it is a gift of oneself to one’s spouse and should be completely selfless. You would never want to lead the woman you love into the sin of lust.
If I may ask you a question, how long have you been Catholic? And how much do you know about the Church’s teachings on this subject? I encourage you to read at least this section of the Catechism of the Catholic Church.

I don’t have much advice on how to stop sinning in this way but I am a little concerned about you saying you are irritated and angry when you don’t get a release. I hope you realize and are prepared for times in your marriage when you must abstain from sex. Whether it’s because you have reason to practice NFP, or because of your wife’s pregnancy or postpartum time, or health issues crop up. Your wife would not want to be on the receiving end of this anger and irritation and made to feel guilty or coerced into sex just so you can get physical release. It could become a problem in your marriage if you don’t learn to channel your frustrations in healthier ways.

It’s good you are seeking advice and help now so you can get through the next few months. I just want to make sure you realize that getting married doesn’t mean you will never have times of abstinence again so any growth you can make now in controlling your passions, will also serve you at various times in your marriage as well.

First of thank you for your reply God bless all of you guys.
I have been with out sex a year and a year not masturbating, just recently I have been falling again into masturbating I’m actually sure I can wait a year here and a year there.
I think I’m falling for it more because in my mind I see my fiancé as my wife already in my mind set as my one and only I do not see or even desire no other girls, just have love for my fiancé. I’m just in a point where I feel lost I pray to god to take these masturbating out of my head but there’s something that always wins, I have even gotten to the point of hitting myself with a belt on my bad to take away these thoughts, God is real I know I do not want to disrespect him I am his child and I’m blessed to have a beautiful fiancé and I repay him with my sins, I feel dirty I feel I Feel like hypocrite.

You gotta edit your post in OP dude that’s way too explicit there’s kids on these forums.

Move the wedding date up, like to next week, and then you can licitly enjoy the marital embrace and calm your burning passions.

Problem solved

We were both Catholic since birth our parents showed us the basics but never really went to mass on Sundays, just here and there.
About 2 years ago we have been attending to mass and involved more in the Catholic Church.
I lived a spiritual retreat where God touched me and that’s where it all changed I was felled with a spirit I could feel it all bad thought were gone all desire was gone but now it’s all coming back I’m crying as I type these because I need and want that purity back but there’s something stronger that is winning, these retreat is what made me sit down with my fiancé and tell her no more sex because it’s a sin until we are married but now i feel empty God please Help me I don’t want these in my head I want to live and do as your will…

Ok sure what can I change I’m sorry do you want me to delete these instead I’m so sorry I’ just don’t know what to do look at me I’m here online asking for advise.

Masturbation is a grave matter. It is mortal sin if committed with full knowledge (e.g you know that it is wrong) and deliberate consent (e.g you, out of your free will, choose do it anyway)

I think make the descriptions brief. Like, instead of the lengthy, vivid descriptions, put something that briefly describes it like ‘‘I masturbate for personal pleasure, and to release stress’’ as this tells us mostly what we need to know to help you in your case.

ok I’m going to edit it please let me know if that’s ok if not I’ll just delete it thank you

@Tigres now it’s good my friend.

Just keep in mind when posting on these forums:

If you wouldn’t say it in front of your 13 year old daughter, your 90 year old Grandma, and Jesus himself, don’t say it on here.

Thank you I tought these was a forum for adults only. I’m sorry once again, I’m happy to hear 13 year old’s come to these site I wish I would of been in these sites instead. These is a really nice forum full of people with good advice. I wanted to ask my priest about these situation but wanted to ask some one that’s actually has passed threw these them selfs.

Jesus understands your struggle. He loves you. Keeping striving to live a pure life. If you fall
go to confession and start all over again. Don’t put all you efforts into being pure as in a way your are tempting yourself. Find a corporal work of mercy that you enjoy and put yourself into that work. You will find you will be tempted less. We all sin be a repentant sinner!
