It is rather disgraceful of you to bless me in God’s name while changing a quote of mine and presenting it as an actual quote in your last reply, #236. This is how you quote me: “Jesus was an only son and firstborn consecrated to the Virgin Mary.” This is a deliberate distortion on your part, unless you were drinking, to try to discredit me. This is what I actually wrote in Reply #217, which you accurately quoted in your reply #234: “Jesus was an only son and firstborn (consecrated to God) of the Virgin Mary.” I am aware that a firstborn was consecrated to God, not to the mother of the child. May I ask why you misquoted me in such a distorted way?

Pax vobiscum
Good Fella
Settle down now. talk about shoot first ask questions later man, i apologize for that i quess i was quoting you by just typing it out i was in a hurry to answer you back and yes i could of copied and pasted your statement but i chose not to.
I have no reason to discredit you, i dont really beleive you’ve provided anything substantial enough to do so even though i wouldnt, regardless then i’d be lying to myself if i tried to discredit you.
And no i wasn’t drunk … I choose not to drink alcoholic beverages, if you have to know.
And when i say God Bless you … i mean it I would like the Lord to bless you with Truth that he would open your eyes from you traditions of Men.
so again God Bless You.

The Lord Jesus Christ Fully MAN Yet Fully GOD.

if you want me to say the reformers, luther, calvin etc. im not because my church is the true body of Christ those who rely Solely on JESUS CHRIST of The Bible for SALVATION thats the true church my friend…Our salvation (yeshuah) is the Chief Foundation Stone, Y’shua/Jesus, and no other! As Peter himself says in Acts 4, “neither is there salvation in any other”, that is, not in any man, not in any Pope, nor in a particular Church denomination or theological perspective, nor in any alleged Apostolic succession, or a particular group, or in our own good works. It is only in Ha’Moschiach, the Son of the Living God, and in no one else. This not only clears up Peter’s perspective as far as I am concerned, but this is why Augustine of Hippo once said, that just as there are those not in any particular Church (which for him included the Eastern churches, the Antiochian Church, the Church of Jerusalem, etc.) that are Christians, there are those within the Church proper, that are not genuine Christians (that is Spirit Born followers of Jesus). But how? Because it is by grace through faith that we are saved and that not of ourselves. Both grace and faith are of God and not of Peter. The real Holy and Apostolic Catholic Church, or as Peter called us, “the priesthood of all believers”, is therefore the universal body of Christ and thus the true Catholic Church, whether it is in Rome, Carthage, Constantinople, or in America. Wherever two or more (who had the same TRUTH REVEALED TO THEM FROM THE FATHER) are gathered in His name, there is that Church, which was called by Peter, the priesthood of all believers (those who trust in, rely on, and cleave to Messiah), and not necessarily those who submit to a Pope, or a Patriarchate, or to their Pastor, or to a particular theological perspective.AMEN

Mark 7:5-9
Then the Pharisees and scribes asked him, Why walk not thy disciples according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashen hands?
He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.
Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do.
And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.

The Lord Jesus Christ Fully MAN Yet Fully GOD.
Then where was your “city on a hill” for the first X-hundred years? The Catholic Church was the only Church for the first millenia. Where was your church?

The Lord Jesus Christ formed the Catholic Church, placing Peter as its head until his office. There have been some 265 successors to Peter. This is the story of Christ’s Bride, the Church.

The Bible is plain on the origin of the church. It began on the day of Pentecost as recorded in Acts 2 (cf. Matthew 16:16-18; Acts 2:37-47). From that time forward in the Bible record the church is spoken of as in existence. It is important to note the Biblical admonition against changing the “creed” of the church—the Word of God (Galatians 1:6-9; Revelation 22:18-19). Thus we boldly speak of restoring New Testament Christianity—the church as it was built in the first century and intended by God to remain.

History does not bear such out though. The Catholic Church as a distinctive body
cannot be historically traced beyond approximately A.D. 606.

Yeah it was. Too bad that about 1500 years later some people changed the Gospel. Who REALLY Preaches “A Different Gospel”?

Okay, then why don’t you teach the same things that they did? They believed the Eucharist to be the Real Body and Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ even as St. Paul tells us in 1st Corinthians 11:23-30. The Eucharist IS Scriptural

Historically inaccurate bunkum. The citations of the ECF that I provide with regard to the Eucharist disprove your assertion by showing that even in 107 AD the church was Catholic in both belief and name.

CHAP. VII.–LET US STAND ALOOF FROM SUCH HERETICS.
Code:
They abstain from the Eucharist and from prayer,(7) because they confess not the Eucharist to be the flesh of our Saviour Jesus Christ, which suffered for our sins, and which the Father, of His goodness, raised up again. Those, therefore, who speak against this gift of God, incur death(11) in the midst of their disputes. But it were better for them to treat it with respect,(13) that they also might rise again. It is fitting, therefore, that ye should keep aloof from such persons, and not to speak of(15) them either in private or in public, but to give heed to the prophets, and above all, to the Gospel, in which the passion[of Christ] has been revealed to us, and the resurrection has been fully proved.(16) But avoid all divisions, as the beginning of evils.
