And we see watch that Sacrifice every Sunday and get saved by that?
Catholic go to Mass Sing some tunes, kneel, receive Communion and go to Hraven?
I am confused. I really want to become Catholic but I cannot even understand the fundamentals. I am sure most people don’t. They just go to Mass because they are supposed to. Most people cannot explain this. I hate to attend Mass without knowing why.

But I do not want to become a Theologian.
I want the fundamentals. Most book complicate stuff.

Because in the old days the baptised people were all Catholics. Today a non-catholic who are baptised can attend Mass and thus the old tradition of leaving at that point makes no sense?

So we are united to the Sacrifice all the time and not just at Mass. After Ite missa est we leave but Mass continious in a mystical sense?
How is this mystical sense different from the Mass at church?

Please give me the fundamentals of this. I am not interested in looking at the details. I just want the truth.
We, priest and people, face east as traditions tells us that is the direction from which Christ is to return—which would have Him facing west . . .

I am asking: what is the real sacrifices that I can offer at Mass?
Money? No!
Singing? No!
A contrite heart? Is it? Is that the real offering?
We attend Mass in order to offer a contrite heart and then recieve Eucharist?
Thus Psalm 50 (51) says a lot about what we do at Mass, right?

Yes, Psalm 51 says a lot about the Mass. So does the prayer of Azaria Daniel 3:24-45

But, understand as a Catholic it is rarely one or the other, but all truth is valid.

If you’re happy, bring that to Mass, thank God for the blessing that moved your soul. If you’re upset, bring that as well. If you have some money, thank God for that & pray He guides you to the proper respect for it, for how you got it, for what you will do with it.

Go to Mass. Even if you’re not Catholic yet. Listen to every word that is said, or sung. Understand it is a prayer from the entrance song to the last song.

Every hymn, every prayer… He is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning & the end, your beginning, your end & all that is incorporated in the sacrifice of the Mass.

I want to offer myself at Mass. That is what I have. The rich people who donate lots of money to the Church still haven’t offered the great sacrifice if they didn’t also offer their lives.
What is “the lacking/wanting” that St Paul talked about? What is is that is “lacking” in the Sacirifce of Jesus? We are are the body of Christ, ie the Church. If we do not offer our lives then not the full body of Christ is being offered???

I seem kinda useless at Mass. I am just a person in the pews. I add nothing.
To be honest, attending Mass feels weird. I have no important role at church.

You should talk to your priest. From your own words maybe you are not converted. Once you know Him; if you could only get one toe in the door you will be full of adoration and praise for Him and will “feel” totally different! Talk to you priest. GBY!

Exactly.

If we can see the love we share as an overflowing of the love Christ has for us, we should be able to see our suffering as an overflowing of the suffering experienced by Christ.

Christ suffered for us out of love for us. May God grant us the grace to experience suffering as an act of love of him.
