Things she did in her life, convents she started, reforms she made to the Carmelite order, things she said, things she wrote, books about her, etc. Anything about her at all…please share.

There are quite a few books about her in part or full, one I read was this one which dedicates 29 pages to her since she is a Doctor of the Church!

I had to add that she is also with his pal San Juan de la Cruz (John of the Cross), one of the classic writters in the Spanish Language, in the XVI when the modern european languages were getting fixed by a explosion of interest in vernacular languages of the XV and XVI centuries.
Get the Road to Perfection (Camino de Perfección) and the Interior Castle ( Las Moradas o el Castillo Interior).
Her real name was Teresa de Cepeda y Ahumada usually know as Sor Teresa de Jesus (her Carmelite name) or ST. Teresa de Avila. Like John of the Cross she was from a jewish converso family. That probaly might have influenced the road traveled by St Edith Stein.

I can’t add much, accept to encourage you to read her autobiography–it’s excellent 🙂

Besides the suggestions thus far, a Google search on “St Teresa of Avila” will provide links to begin.

I just read Saint Teresa of Avila by F.A. Forbes. It’s a short book, but it did supply some general information. I just started Interior Castle and after that there’s another biography I found at www.catholicebooks.com that I’m going to read. For some reason, I’m just very fascinated by her life and her work. There’s something about her that inspires and encourages me, while at the same time challenges me to do better. What a fantastic saint she is.

Thanks, everyone, for all your help and suggestions.
