Forgive Me Father, for I Am Frustrated by Fr. Mitch Pacwa
Introduction to the Devout Life by St. Francis De Sales

I guess tech manuals don’t count, even if I read them in a Catholic school. 😉

Rise, Let us be on Our Way was fantastic. I highly reccomend it to everyone. Its a down to earth partial autobiography which is simple and easy to read while at the same time, catching you off guard with some very profound thoughts by JP the Great!

The Spirit of Catholicism (Fr. Karl Adam)

Love of Eternal Wisdom (St. Louis de Montfort)

Conformity to the Will of God (taken from the writings of St. Alphonsus Ligouri)

…and I am in and out of other books from time to time as well, usually from the Early Church Fathers. 😉

SEARCH AND RESCUE How to Bring Your Family and Friends Into- or Back Into- the Catholic Church Patrick Madrid

Simple yet profound.

The Navarre Pentateuch. It has outstanding commentary which is helpful for understanding the Old Testament.

St. Faustina’s Diary

The following book always touches my heart in such a beautiful, peaceful, and yet logical and loving way. I recommend it highly to any one who feels like his/her spiritual life is drifting a bit (or if you feel like your spiritual life has never “left shore”, or if it is getting just too hard to do, etc, etc, etc…)

Yeah, that is a good one. I was given it for Christmas last year. It goes great with “Crossing the Threshold of Hope.”

Has anyone read JPII’s “Memory and Identity”? (I think that’s what it’s called)
