What class for 1st Communion would they be in?

I have a 10 year old and 11 year old grandsons who have not received their First Holy Communion and I would like to know where in Long Island, New York I can take them for training. I don’t want them to be in a class with all 2nd graders. Can you help me.
 
They shouldn’t be in a class room full of second graders. They should be in the appropriate level religious education classes for their age. The teacher or priest may need to do a little extra work with them to prepare them for First Communion but they’ll most likely be in a class with other children their own age.
I suggest you discuss it with your local parish and they should be able to make appropriate accommodations.
