It’s always so nice when they can find loving forever homes. I wish every kitty could have that.

We have Leo a ginger,Kittywoo a black,Meek who is black and white and Fetta a tabby…all boys.

He was a grumpy cat around everyone else, but a very sweet kitty with me.

Snugglepuss was what they call a flame point Siamese. His eyes are closed in the pic, but they were sky blue.

HOLY COW, Jan, those two cats are identical to one we have and one we used to have. Currently we own two ginger cats (the twin of the one pictured is named Midas) but among the previous set of four was a black and white like the one pictured, exactly! His name was Spotty and in addition to the markings visible here he had a tiny black goatee below his chin.

They’ve all come to us from my inlaws’ farm. The first set of four we took in 1993. They were a late litter and we agreed to keep them for the winter so they didn’t freeze, the agreement with the kids being that come spring they would go back to the farm. I wasn’t mentally prepared to have cats in the house in perpetuity, having grown up with dogs. In the spring, of course, they were returned. And over the course of the next month, one by one, we brought them all back home again. 😃

I’m just wondering if Snugglepuss is a Balinese? … … a long haired siamese?

Maybe. I’m not that familiar with the more exotic breeds. The vet referred to him as an apricot or flame point Siamese, and I know that some of those cats do have longer hair. He was one of the few cats I didn’t rescue from the animal shelter. A neighbor gave him to me when he was only about 11 months old. He had the temperament of a Siamese – a little feisty with a loud meow.

Raj is the patch of darkness in back, Gus is the sweet boy in front.
