What constiutes the "Easter Season"?

Hello -
I noticed that the precepts of the church state you should recieve the Eucharist at least during the Easter season. Does that mean it does not have to be received on Easter sunday but anytime during the 7 Sundays of the Easter season?

If you are speaking of the Easter Duty, that runs from Ash Wednesday to Trinity Sunday. Therefore, you are covered.

I was speaking of the mandate of taking communion once during Easter time and wasn’t sure if it had to be on the 1st Easter Sunday or anytime there after until Pentecost?

My understanding of the history of the “Easter Duty” is that it technically meant on Pascha or during its octave.

However, because of the scarcity of churches and priests early in the history of the USA, one or the other of the Councils of Baltimore extended the time from Lent to Pentecost.

Actually, the extension goes to Trinity Sunday. As far as I can tell, the extension has not been rescinded.

But the point should be made that the answer which applies to the United States (and it seems the OP is in the USA) may not apply to those in other parts of the world.
