What Do Catholics Believe?

[TraStiltner]

Catholics believe in mostly all the same things as all other forms of Christianity. They believe in Jesus Christ and God, The Holy Trinity, etc. They also have saints and do confessionals

I don’t see where you’re going with this.

I would suggest two things… The first is get the Catechism of the Catholic Church. That should give you all you need to know what the Church teaches.

Two, sign up for RCIA. To learn more.

The reason why I suggest that is that your question is too broad for the forum to dialogue and explain it to you. Do you have a specific question about the Catholic faith like Why do Catholics go to confession? Then we can help.

Also, this websites shop is selling the Catechism tracts for like $3.00 right now. I haven’t read them but supposedly they are supposed to summarize the Catechism of the Catholic Church. They might be worth your time to explore.

Hope this helps.

I believe in God, the Father Almighty,
Creator of Heaven and Earth
And in Jesus Christ
His only Son, Our Lord
Who was conceived of the Holy Spirit
Born of the Virgin Mary
Suffered under Pontius Pilate
Was crucified, died and was buried.
On the third day, he rose again
He ascended into Heaven
and is seated at the right hand
of God, the Father Almighty.
He will come again to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the Holy Catholic Church,
the Communion of Saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and life everlasting.
Amen.
