What do Catholics do on the last supper, I’m sorry I’m new to this faith and try to learn more about it

ever since I was a child, always wondered, when Jesus told Peter, (paraphrase) “the one who dips his bread with mine is the betrayer” … as Judas is right there, imagine if he overheard and didn’t stick his bread in there! Maybe Judas didn’t hear Jesus, loud upper room? Maybe His words were hidden from Judas? Just saying, if I knew I was the betrayer and I was about to be called out, I wouldn’t want to be called out!

I’m actually a guy Kandi is just my dogs name misleading i know

You are the only one I know of that celebrates birthdays whenever you wish.
That’s a new one to me and I am sure to many others.

I wasn’t referring to the value of the celebration, just the fact that the majority of
holidays etc. are celebrated once a year.

I would love to but my parents would probably not allow my father being I quote (republican) that’s what he says his religion is and he is not very fond of Catholics to say the least , my mother is a Jew , she left so it’s not up to her . Just so you know I live full time with my father

Kandi, how old are you? If you can watch TV/stream in private, you will find live broadcast of the Vatican’s Holy Thursday, Good Friday, Easter Sunday services.

Weird. I’ve never heard an American describe their political party as their religion.

Do I celebrate a day more than once a year? Why, I am not really a prophet or God to bring an event from in time to the present day.
About definition, each day happens once a year.
That should not be confused with an event.

The Eucharist is much more than a memorial service.

Fortunately, the early Christians seem to have celebrated the Eucharist much more often than you’d want.

You have to understand that Jesus last supper was held on the night of the Jewish passover which was held once a year on Nisan 14. The last supper replaced the Jewish passover because Jesus death was the sacrifice that the passover typically foretold.

Interesting that you keep focusing on these annual celebrations, especially mentioning birthdays, etc. I didn’t think JW’s acknowledged or celebrated any of those.(?)

Yes, and it was to remember the Exodus.
Jesus brought about a renewing of the Covenant…a New Covenant, one whose rites are different.

Trust me, I think the apostles taught their students well.
