What do I do to protest nuns supporting problematic causes?

I discovered that a local order of nuns actively supports the work of a controversial civil rights organization, and even excuses this organizations’s support for abortion rights. How can I let them know my feelings about this?

If you can do so in a calm, respectful manner, write a letter to explain that you are dismayed by their choice to support this problematic group, and that the donations you would have given them will now go to nuns who unapologetically defend all human life as the pre-eminent civil right. Carbon-copy the letter to the nuns you choose to support and enclose a donation with the carbon. One possibility for your donation might be the Sisters of Life.
