What do I do with offensive literature?

My daughter bought a book called Pilate’s Wife. She thought it would be an interesting novel about Christ from Pilate’s wife’s perspective. As she neared the end, it took a turn toward the ever more popular subject of Christ being married. Our family considers this blasphemy and I don’t want to keep the book in the house, nor do I want to put it out in circulation. I’m not sure what to do with it. Any advice?
 
If you feel that strongly about not keeping it in circulation, throw it into the trash.
