I am a 20 year old male, and I am trying to become a police officer.Part of the screening process is a polygraph test where they ask you about your past and such. As a teenager, I engaged in criminal activities, breaking and entering/smoking pot/ stealing etc., but I have not these things in about 2 years, in fact, I am a completely different person.(These things are not on my record as I never got caught) What I am getting at is, these “red flag” things could disqualify me from becoming employed and I am thinking about lying to the polygrapher and keeping my nerves to pass the test, however; I know it is against my Christian faith to bear false witness. Am I morally obligated to disclose such events from my past?
