What do I say to euthanasia supporters?

I sometimes come across people who say that people with, say, Alzheimer’s should be euthanized because they are drains to society.

Assuming that the person on the other side of the argument is atheist, and assuming I don’t have time to get into a long and drawn out discussion about the existence of God, how do I address this issue?
