What do Muslims and Jews think about evolution?

I’m curious to know what Muclims and Jews think about evolution since they are both Abrahamic religions that kind of like have a basis in the Bible’s Old Testament.Are they agianest it,do they have like there own creationism like concepts and/or do they disagree with it to some some degrees and if so to what extent?.
 
Quran agrees with the Bible main creation concept, but does not mention the creation details as the Bible does.

(Quran 15:26):
“We created man from sounding clay, from mud moulded into shape.”

As a generalisation, Muslims believe the Quran to be the uncorrupted LITERAL word of God, and they reject evolution. Most Jews do not take their scriptures literally and accept evolution. The minority of orthodox Jews believe in the Torah to be the literal word of God.

Sometimes I think you haven’t even actually read the Qur’an.
 
In general, there’s no problem with evolution in Islam. Why not believe that Allah can evolve creatures as well as create them? While I’ve heard Muslim scholars accept evolution on earth for other creatures (plants, animals), they’re firm that God created humanity in creating Adam from dirt, and not evolving humans from another creation.

Peace be with you 😉 With respect, I think is a major problem with evolution in Islam. As one of the main points about evolution is ALL animals including man evolved and are evolving.

In evolutionary theory, chimps are our distant cousins, and fish are our very distant cousins. All life can be traced back through an evolutionary tree to a single celled organism.

I agree with your point about God does evolve creatures as well as creating them. 👍

Well, who ever says that evolutionary theory is complete?

It’s got holes, and leaves plenty of questions unanswered. The point, then, is to not throw the baby out with the bathwater, so to speak.

Islam rejects one part of it, that humans evolved from lower creatures, but really doesn’t reject or confirm the rest.
