Souls go to heaven. One’s body remains on Earth. It is my fervent hope that the one thing souls do not do in heaven is get stuck on the D.C. Beltway or have to listen to lawyer advertisments on t.v. or radio.

Hopefully I’ll see my Mother and Father, grandparents, and nephew and brother in law who have gone before me. The best thing will be to be with Jesus and the Blessed Mother.

1 Corinthians 2:9 - But, as it is written: That eye has not seen, nor ear heard: neither has it entered into the heart of man, what things God has prepared for them that love him.

I often drive myself crazy wondering the same thing. Nobody knows!

Yes but after the world ends, we get our bodies back. Then what? I know, nobody knows.

They play the sport that is played in Heaven, which we here on Earth refer to as "Baseball:,
The umps never mess up, and the Yankees and Red Sox get along!

Seriously, they pray for those of us still on earth.

My brother is a potato farmer and he says that he hopes he gets to farm in heaven. 🙂

We will be doing what we love, with whom we love, and we will be loving what we do.

According to my old church, heaven has some of the same activities that earthly life has, including work, although this will come without tiredness or other limitations earthly work has. It will see each person have their assigned role, and all these activities will be acts of worship in the presence of God Himself.
I am unaware of how Biblical this is though, as I'm remembering something I heard 4 years ago.

Hopefully I will find out what happened to the things that I lost,

Imagine that everything that is imperfect in us is gone. No more worries, stress, temptation, anger, hate, sorrow, pain, infirmaties, biases, envy, sloth, lust, greed, jelousy, pride, gluttony, self loathing, guilt, sadness, lies , ignorance, etc. And that we will know the truth about everything, We will know the depths of the Fathers love, and peace, We will no longer have the capacity to hate, covet, get discouraged or bored,. We will not be limited by time or space. We will be as gods in perfect communion with the Father.

As much as we can imagine we fall short of the glory and joys of Heaven…

But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, ear has not heard, and upon the heart of man has not come up that which God has prepared for those who love him.”

Sad to say some here on earth won’t have to worry about what they’ll do in heaven because they won’t be there:(

To some people that is boring. Crazy huh?
If you find it “boring” then you have never truly done so. (Worshipped God).

For me, better descriptions would be “overwhelming” or sometimes even “scary”. It’s only “boring” when I’m focused too much on me me me.

For example:
Dear God,

I I I I I I want … I I I I need … me me blah, More me me me I I I me.

(yawn).

See?
