Something happened today at work where people where calling something a knob. and I said isent that a nut.

Before i said it it came to mind that if i said this it would be talking dirty but that wasn’t my intension. this thing really look like a nut. I followed through and said it and the people around me thought i said it as a joke and they started saying things as well. i said thats not what i mean’t it looks like a nut. but towards the end i smiled a little.

does people here think i committed a grave sin. it wasn’t my intension but at the same time i had a feeling others might think differently. i had a little smile on my face. i should learn to keep my mouth shut.
 
Don’t think that would count even as a venial sin. We all inadvertently say things sometimes that might be taken the wrong way. But since your intention was innocent, it’s not a sin.
