What do Protestants think the early Christian

The second sentence is a common heresy among Protestants that do not understand Sacred Tradition.

This is not quite accurate. Those came after Jesus and the original disciples are important historical figures. What they wrote is important to the degree they support the teachings of the Bible and for historical evidence for the continuance of the Faith Jesus Authored.​

Jesus is the fullness of everything that pertains to God, His will and His plan.

I clearly see you speak the heresy’s taught by those that are separated form the original faith given to us by Christ.

And if you did any reading about me you’d know that I spent the first 14 years of my life as a Protestant and until the past 3 years again a member of the Church of Christ. i was speaking from experience and from the arguments we’d have made 3 years ago had we not seen the truth by study REAL HISTORY.

Thank you for your opinion. Sound like a common belief of those who hold too highly the idea of sacred tradition. But that’s only my opinion.

Captilize the “T” in Tradition when you speak to me son. And say Sacred like you really mean it. 😉

I see you’re on a ‘heresy’ kick. A common mistake that holds way too highly a church’s teaching about itself which is in contrast to the direct teachings of the Bible, IMO.

Try saying the teachings of Christ, not the inanimate object you place on a pedestal. I know these things because I was a member of the Lord’s church for 18 years prior to my conversion.

I read nothing about you. I spent the first 17 yrs of my life in the United Church of Christ (Congregational). I have not brought much of the teachings from that time of my life forward. They were liberal in their theology. When I became a Christian, about 20 yrs old, I began a life long study of the Bible, some from Bible school, some as a congregant of a non-denominational church, some as a Bible study leader, some as pulpit supply and all to gain understanding for myself and to hopefully teach others.​

All I said about my history is meaningless in any discussion of the Truth. It’s meaningful only to me because it’s my life.

The pedestal??? You mean things like: the CC??, the sacred tradition?? the Magisterium (spelling?)??
