What do we know about heaven as described by Jesus and the saints?

In a few weeks it will be the 4 year anniversary of my mom’s death. I’ve struggled with what is waiting for her ever since we knew her disease was terminal. I’ve read about visions of heaven described by saints and of course am comforted by what the bible tells us. Of course, I"ve probably missed some explanations of saints’ visions and I just wanted to know, what do we Catholics know about heaven?
 
I’d say it’s safest to go by the official teaching of the Church and what the Bible itself actually says.

As St. Paul says, “Eye has not seen, ear has not heard, nor has it entered in the heart of man the things God has prepared for those who love Him.”

Believe me, these are rich and wonderful enough to overwhelm us.
 
After reading some of the other threads here, I"m not sure I posted this in the proper forum so thank you for answering me.

Thank you for being so kind. That bible verse was one I’d forgotten and it was comforting.
