Welcome home. That it clings to me tightly.
I’m in RCIA and my life before finally finding faith was a dark and empty place. I’m afraid of slipping back into that empty existence. I know that He will never turn away from me, that He is always there for me and that these worries are caused by insecurity and anxiety.
When I’m feeling low or worried I think about Jesus and Mary holding me in their arms, like a group hug.
Lower property taxes, maybe. Here’s a question for each and everyone of us

Thank you!Welcome home.

JFK right? In the immortal words of someone,
“Ask not what your Church can do for you; ask what you can do for your Church”.
Or something like that.
Since Christ guarantees the Church, it is redundant to ask anything of it.
Blessings,
Stephie
Thank you so very much:thumbsup:That it clings to me tightly.

Courage to continue to promote and defend the beautiful truth of our faith in Jesus and His Church!! Don’t succumb to societal pressures to water down the faith!!Here’s a question for each and everyone of us

And getting that bushfire out.Lower property taxes, maybe.
But I’ll let the New Zealanders take a stab at that.
Yeah, just saw the news story. I hear though they were successful in stopping the spread. And getting that bushfire out.![]()
WOW!I too, am in RCIA, and very much looking forward to my baptism this coming Easter.
I have stopped asking for anything in my prayers now, and instead every decade of the rosary I thank God for my wife, my two children, and the opportunity to TRY to live according to His will.
A few months ago I was having an extremely stressful time with work. Numerous factors were adding up to me contemplating a change in career. I prayed daily for guidance, patience, and confidence. One day, while at a local church’s shrine to the Virgin Mary, I FELT peace. I knew what I was supposed to do.
So now, I try not to ask for anything, and give thanks for what I have been given. It is rather hard, as we are a selfish lot.
The “Me” from a few years ago would mock me mercilessly. The “Me” of now would pray for that man.
