What do you consider proof of God, if anything?

UNFORTUNATELY, proof has no rights.

Religious believers stay put as they accept and defend their beliefs. They do not proceed to move toward the truth that their beliefs point them toward. Thus they are stuck at a distance from the truth itself, thus they are stuck within a zone of less than truth. Thus multiple religions are maintained since neither of them is interested moving toward the truth to determine which religion is the right one.

Now since they IN NO WAY wish to move beyond the limits of the zone of less than truth, if a TRUE form of proof of the existence of God is handed to them, it is immediately rejected since it does not conform to the limits of less than truth.

Thus the proof of God, TRUTH, is of no help at all.

Seems to me that our apostle [Paul] makes a significant statement in Colossians 2:8

“BEWARE lest any man spoil you through PHILOSOPHY AND VAIN DECEIT, after the TRADITION OF MEN, AFTER THE RUDIMENTS OF THE WORLD, AND NOT AFTER CHRIST.”

Whatta ya think?
I THINK YOU ARE A SWEETIE PIE AND I LIKE CAT’S You are Welcome and you are Loved Nancy 😉

AND I STILL SAY THE SAME.

An introduction web page has been added. See outersecrets.com/real/biblecode2a.htm

Crystal clear code patterns shout out, but no one hears them, as usual.

What do I consider proff of God, if anything?

My drastically changed life for starters. In 1989 I turned over my life to the Lord on the evening of March 5 at around 9 pm. I was so worn out of trying to juggle it all meaning life on my own that i was just plain washed out physically and mentally. So I asked the Lord to please take the reigns of my life, I would surrender and follow Him for the rest of my life and I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. That very evening my whole life changed, the peace was what was the first noticeable difference. A peace came over me that was so overwhelming I never knew a peace like this even existed. I did not even want to talk , I was afraid it was not going to last long and I wanted to enjoy every moment of it.Then the excitement of knowing that no matter what came my way, good, bad or ugly I would have Jesus in corner. Then came the hunger to read the written word of the bible. God is alive a well!!!

What do I consider proof of God, if anything?

The life and miracles of St. Pio.

I’m curious what people consider as proof that there is a God, or if you even think proof is possible. Has anyone had what they would consider a miracle happen, seen an angel, seen a person healed by prayer, etc? I don’t believe because I have never seen any proof, so I am curious what others have seen or what they would even consider proof. My purpose is not to try and explain anything away, I’m actually just genuinely curious about other’s experiences and logic on this subject.
Proof is the context of “21st century modern scientific theory” is not possible because God transcends the material. Science seems to stop at the material.

The idea of trying to “prove” God is a chasing after the wind.
  1. God does allow himself to be proven.
  2. An element of love - is belief.
  3. God does not show himself at this moment of life because we as humans are called to enkindle the aspect of love that is “belief” (loving without seeing).
Thank you for reading.

Several people here have recommended this man to me to read about him.

His fellow brother, and founder of the University of Milan, and a qualified doctor and neuropsychologist, Agostino Genelli, remained very unconvinced by the man.

It seems quite a few within the Church thought like him.

I wasn’t either convinced or impressed.

Sarah x 🙂

Sarah -

Padre Pio - Miracle Man (Is on Netflix DVD). It will shed light on why so many were unconvinced, within and without of the Church.

Keep in mind, those closest to him (friends, family, brother monks) all were convinced and impressed. It was those on the outside that were unconvinced.

The Church and the world abandoning Padre Pio is nothing different than what the world did to Christ. In that aspect, he lived a life just like Jesus.

Kindly - James

I recommend you read about him before you make any final judgement about him. (And be sure to read books from good reliable sources.) Jesus had his own sceptics too.🙂

Out of respect for Sarah position. I did additional research on Agostino. This I came across and found interesting. In fairness, it is a Catholic source.

For anyone interested in more on Agostino Gemelli:

In 1920, Padre Pio had his famous meeting with another well-respected Franciscan, Father Agostino Gemelli (founder of Rome’s leading hospital). Later Father Gemelli was extremely critical of Padre Pio. Why?

Peroni: In part it was because they came from two very different cultures. Father Gemelli was from a more “positivist,” or scientific background; his motive for visiting San Giovanni Rotondo was to authenticate Padre Pio’s stigmata. In fact, he was prejudiced against Padre Pio’s veracity from the beginning.

Father Gemelli had already written much on the subject of the stigmata. He believed that all stigmata were “psychological” rather than supernatural phenomena, with the unique exception of those of St. Francis himself, and perhaps St. Catherine of Siena.

Because of his intransigent position, Father Gemelli had some problems with the Church. He was blamed, for instance, for the slow pace of Gemma Galgani’s beatification process.

What did Father Gemelli conclude concerning Padre Pio’s stigmata?

Peroni: The truth is that Father Gemelli never saw Padre Pio’s stigmata. Padre Pio requested written authorization to show Father Gemelli his signs; he had been instructed to do so by his superiors — and he was an obedient monk. Father Gemelli had no written permission, but kept insisting, relying on his charisma and reputation. He found his equal in Padre Pio, however, who was never impressed by position or fame, and dismissed him quite brusquely.

The esteemed Franciscan Father must have felt quite insulted, and from that time on he was Padre Pio’s implacable critic. Gemelli was not always truthful in respect to his meeting with Padre Pio. He claimed falsely, for instance, that he had seen the stigmata and had observed their non-supernatural origin.

Unfortunately, Father Gemelli’s evaluation of Padre Pio had a negative influence on the opinion of the times. Harassment of the Capuchin friar increased to the point that he was suspended for a few years from his spiritual ministry (except for private Mass).

" a precise, predefined and predictable experience and called ‘the first Resurrection’ in the sense that the Resurrection of Jesus was intended to demonstrate Gods’ willingness to real Himself and intervene directly into the natural world for those obedient to His will, paving the way for access, by faith, to the power of divine transcendence and ultimate proof!"

"That proof being a direct individual intervention into the natural world by omnipotent power that confirms divine will, law, command and covenant, which at the same time, realigns our moral compass with the Divine, “correcting human nature by a change in natural law, altering biology, consciousness and human ethical perception beyond all natural evolutionary boundaries.”

That should cover it. And it already exists!

Thanks for the research. It breaks my heart when people doubt such a holy priest like St. Pio. I’ve read a number of books about him and know this man is a real saint. No doubt about it! Peace!
