Me, too.None of the above.
I think both parties fail on at least one church teaching or another. The liberal/democrat coin depends on the issue. I’d be considered liberal on some issues, conservative on others, and a moderate on still other. Hence I consider myself a liberally conservative moderate that is unaffiliated.![]()
You have to register with a party in order to vote?I consider myself conservative, and I put that ahead of party affiliation. I’m registered as a Republican, but I’m considering re-registering as an independent.
Here here!I am conservative only in that I wish to conserve all that is good, true, and beautiful: in morals, family, politics, and faith. I am a monarchist, but a constitutional one - which would make me liberal in 1700 and conservative in 1920.
Most of all I consider myself a Christian, and that colours everything I believe.![]()
I am a Catholic first and always.Click above.
You don’t have to register with a party to vote, but Alabama has a closed primary, meaning that you have to be registered as a Republican to vote in the Republican primary, or as a Democrat to vote in the Democratic primary. In the November elections, one could be registered as a Looneybird and it wouldn’t matter. You have to register with a party in order to vote? Can’t you just decide who to vote for on the day?
Depends on the state, and its primary laws. You have to register with a party in order to vote? Can’t you just decide who to vote for on the day?
The Primaries are the equivalents of leadership selections. For example, in the expected Coronation of Prince Justin this Wednesday, you would have to be a member of the Liberal Party to participate. You have to register with a party in order to vote? Can’t you just decide who to vote for on the day?
Not necessarily. I consider myself a social and fiscal conservative, but there are Republicans for whom I would not vote, if I lived in the states where they are running, and there are Democrats for whom I have voted (in local elections).I realize the OP is a kid, but the poll options are redundant (sp? Why Chrome is’t spell checking is beyond me) Democrat/liberal and Republican/conservative basically mean the same thing.
My sig line will give you a pretty good idea how I vote.
Ditto.Catholic.
Pax Christi!
Indeed. I used to have quite a liberal viewpoint, but after coming into my faith, I’ve been rethinking my stance on several issues. You needed another blank for “uncertain” or “rethinking.”
