what do you do when there is no funeral?

Daddy was a devout Catholic, Momma not so much. Momma just had Daddy cremated before all children could get into town. She is not giving Daddy a funeral. He was the oldest of nine and had three children. What can his siblings and children do since there will be no funeral?

You could ask your local parish if the priest would be willing to say a Mass for the Dead for your father at which your family could attend. Or you could book a regular Mass at your parish and have it said for your father.
