Is there an organization that collects unwanted holy cards, prayer cards, medals and assorted religious items? My mother is 93 and has accumulated hundreds.
Before you get rid of anything, I recommend sorting through the materials carefully and setting aside any that may be antique or unique. You may want to get anything that might have value appraised. As for the rest, check with your pastor. He may know of apostolates in the diocese that could use the materials.
