It seems like a waste to throw them away. Though I have some from a few years back and don’t reread them.

Me too. I don’t read the old ones because there is still enough to read in the current one.
I gathered up my old ones and have them in a box, and plan to get them out. Maybe the Church library?
I’ll keep tuned to this thread… because I have the same problem.
I need the bookshelf space for other books.

with Father’s okay, I used to leave them in the adoration chapel, they were always gone by the following week.
now I save them, and solicit them from other subscribers. I have a file on the sacred art and related story from each issue, and I use the “inside” with the order of the Mass to teach RCIA and confirmation classes.

Keep three years worth and then you can start re-using them. 
I have only subscribed for about a yar. I have saved them. I don’t ever seem to be able to read everything in each issue each month. I want to have them so that on a cold, rainy day or some other similar time I can pull them out and read the Saint bios, meditations, etc
I do wish they would include common prayers in each issue like a Prayer Before a Crucifix so that I would also have those at Mass in one handily little booklet.

It depends on your local area, but our local hospital has waiting rooms of magazines and sometimes a few watchtowers makes their way in there so when I go make my monthly deposit on my bill
I leave them in the waiting room. But that depends on the hospital.

I always feel horrible throwing them out! I’ve wondered what to do with them myself, and I too wish I had the time to read all the wonderful extra stuff in them.

Several people put them in the pamphlet rack. They disapppear quite rapidly.

How far back do they go? I’m looking for issues March -June 2001. There is a prayer that I’m looking for and I think it’s in that range. I would pay postage if you have them. PM me if interested.
