I agree. The “self” is an illusion (reflective consciousness) within the human mind.

Depends on what’s meant by “self.” The fallen tendency in each of us? Your inner core (soul)? A persona someone tries to project? The first one is congenitally rooted in every human. The second one’s there from conception. So the only one you could potentially create would be the last one.
