What do you think of a business address 666?

We are in Sydney, Australia. And we are looking to become affiliated with a business in New York with the address 666. We know that satanists always use this number. What’s your thoughts about getting involved with them? The address etc is below if anyone knows anything about this organisation or other. Your (name removed by moderator)ut is greatly needed.

It’s just a number,

The address happens all over the place. This address is not evil nor is it the mark of the beast. There is a taxi company in my area that has the phone number 666-6666. They seem like a decent taxi company.

I recall paying $6.66 at subway and the food was fine. Hope this helps 😃 .

666 is in reference to Nero. Nothing else. I doubt the company deliberately chose that address. I admit I know nothing about the company; I’m just going on common sense.
 
Thanks for (name removed by moderator)ut thus far. As a bit of background, we have been having trouble with the enemy in our business and personal lives. And this number crops up repeatedly, lately. I just got advice from my spiritual director who knows the background that it’s a little suspicious and to check the company out. That’s why I posted here. So, thanks for the (name removed by moderator)ut thus far. Incidentally, I got our business premises blessed and we are really prospering. But the number keeps popping up. I hope it is just coincidence. But we are a little hesitant as satanists are obsessed with this number, and we don’t want to get mixed up with those people.

Not to sound stupid, but you can’t always judge a book by its cover…sure, it is possible for their to be evil companies, but you’d never know until it was too late. We can’t let our opinions of something get in the way because they may be a great group to work with…for all you know, the CEO of a company could be a good God fearing man who just foind a cheap peice of real estate to use that just happened to have 666 as the address…
Honeslty, if you feel unsure about them and want to find out, I would say this is a job for the Better Buisness Bereau…
 
I read about this a while ago - interesting:

If you write the Latin name “Nero Caesar” in Greek, then transliterate it into Hebrew (using a rather unusual spelling) and add up the letters, you get 666!
 
Just a number… though used by evil people…

Look at it like this…

Enron’s address wasnt 666…and look how evil THEY turned out to be… its whats in ones heart, not the address on their building or digits in their phone number.
 
If it makes you feel any better… the Cathedral of Saint Patrick, which is the seat of the Archbishop of New York, is just two blocks down Fifth Avenue, across the street.
 
The last three digits of my fax number are 666. I haven’t received any evil faxes. Of course I sprinkled Holy Water on the fax machine, prayed the Rosay over it and layed hands on it. Just a precaution.😃
 
I know that 666 can be just a number…

but in the Gather hymnal there is a song on page 666. I have never sung that song. I wonder if it is because it’s on page 666?

With that aside, you should fully investigate, on your own, everything about a company before joining it.
 
I don’t think the company actually gets to choose the address. I think it is issued by the city, or maybe even by the county, because most urban or suburban areas are on a grid pattern. In my area, I can tell the nearest cross street for an address on an east-west road just by the first few digits of the number.

Besides, freaking out about randomly assigned numbers is superstitious (IMO) and akin to numerology, which we’re supposed to avoid. Otherwise we let material things have too much power over us. They’re just numbers.

I used to work at 666 Fifth Ave for Mutual of America. There were many there that attended orgy parties after work. I suppose there are some good companies that are in the building, but there are also some very evil companies there.

The Pope flies Alitalia Airlines. They also have an office there (or at least they used to).

Years ago there was a building on Lake Shore Drive in Chicago which had been nicely renovated and turned into condos & shopping areas. It turned out that it was going to have the address 666. but the owners requested to have it changed. I think it’s 667 now.
