What do you think of POMP AND CIRCUMSTANCE in our Church???

we have a Mass in May and invite all graduates to attend, in cap and gown, sit together, and play Pomp and Circumstance as a recessional. Would not be my choice, but the organist really loves it because he seldom gets a chance to really crank up the organ.

The Pomp is wonderful! It elevates my soul and helps the mere mortal side of me catch a glimpse, a tiny fraction, of the Glory Of God and His Kingdom in Heaven that I hope to attain someday. It is an inspiration to me, and I am all for it!
